Ohana the Dog needs a home
Meet Ohana. She is a 3 year old Siberian Husky who weighs 52 pounds. She has the most beautiful eyes and uses them draw you in!
Ohana is your typical Husky in that she likes to talk and let you know she is present and can be somewhat over dramatic. She knows all the basic commands, thanks to her professional training: sit stay, down stay, place, wait, take it and touch!
She is crate and house trained, however, if not exercised enough she does become somewhat antsy in the crate. She does get along with other dogs and cats and most importantly, she LOVES people. Like most Husky's she will need a firm owner that can continue to help guide her after all her hard work in training.
Due to being a Husky, please note that apartments may not be the best fit for her unless plenty of exercise is in the plans, like a running or hiking.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
